a card for my Wonderful Sister

This birthday card uses Stampin' Up! Fifth Avenue & Wonderful Favourites Stamp sets.
The colours are Not Quite Navy, Rose Red, Kraft & DSP Bella Bleu.

The rose is stamped on to watercolor paper using black staz-on ink then coloured with a Rose Red marker & aqua painter. Then cut out & mounted with stampin' diamensionals to raise it.
Rose Red 1" double stitched ribbon hides the join of the two pieces before matting onto kraft cardstock, then matted on the rose red base.
"Wonderful" is stamped in versamark ink with white embossing powder & "sister" is versamark ink with black embossing powder.
I have wrapped her little pressie in the same DSP Bella Bleu paper & rose red ribbon.

All products are Stampin' Up! except the 3 little pink rhinestones : they are Kasiercaft.

I hope my Wonderful Sister has a wonderful birthday tomorrow.

Wild About... my new spiral punch!

I saw this 'film strip' idea months ago somewhere on the net, but I can't remember where.
I've only recently got the spiral punch so have been testing out different ways to use it.

This card was quite quick & easy to make : the 'wild about you' animals are punched out with the square punch & mounted onto the basic black film strip & the background is 'Sanded' background stamp in Basic Grey ink on whisper white card stock. The Happy Birthday stamp is heat embossed with versamark & white embossing powder on real red card stock.

Dazzlin' Pun Fun

'Mary's little lamb' (as my 3yr old calls this) is covered in crystal effects then sprinkled with dazzlin' diamonds glitter. I've cut around it with my paper snips & mounted on rose red card stock with stampin' diamensionals to raise.
The lighter colour pink is the in color : pink pirouette. DSP is from the level 1 hostess Patterns pack II (rose red). Mat pack & paper piercing tool used in the corners of the rose red card stock before mounting on pink pirouette.  Also used the Short & Sweet stamp set & oval punches.

Same layout as Sunday's workshop make & take : measure the middle of your card stock (10.5cm) & use your bone folder to fold one edge at a time into the middle of the card stock

The card below is also the same layout  & colours (baja breeze) as Sunday's workshop make & take
