So… I’m a bridesmaid on Friday for a dear friend from School.

I’ve made the ‘bride to be’ this card to give to her tomorrow to wish her good luck. (The bridal party head to Bowral for a girlie night before the Wedding J )

I’m so excited for her and honoured to be in the bridal party.

I usually cry at Weddings… I just hope I don’t make my mascara run!

'bride to be' stamp is from the spring mini catalogue (sorry: no longer available) stamped in black staz-on on watercolour paper.

'sanded' background stamped in tempting turquoise on whisper white card stock

accessories: dazzling diamonds glitter, scallop edge punch, ribbon, markers & blender pens to colour,

EGGStra special Easter wishes

Where does the time go?
The Easter long weekend is nearly over and it’s gone so quickly!

Here’s sending you ‘eggstra special Easter wishes’ as Easter Monday is almost finished... and so is the Easter chocolate at our house, for two reasons:
Firstly because the grandparents gave practical pressies this year (hooray!) so we didn't get a ridiculous amount (phew!) and secondly because three year olds don’t get the ‘save some for later’ theory.

This card uses the very versatile loads of love set & loads of love accessories set (pg 39)
I’ve stamped in black staz-on ink, & used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the eggs in the back of the truck. The Designer series paper is from last years catalogue.

Card stock: Real red, tempting turquoise, whisper white
Ink: black staz-on, real red,
chocolate chip, close to cocoa, creamy caramel with blender pens to colour the truck.

Accessories
: stamp-a-ma-jig, blender pens, dimensionals, sponge daubers
real red & tempting turquoise markers (fine end) to colour the eggs.

Wednesdays Workshop Easter card

I hope everyone is having a lovely Easter Weekend.

Above is the card I made on Wednesday at a workshop.
The notepad & matching box (with eggs & rose red ink spot) was D's hostess Thank you gift from me. We had a fun evening, with lots of giggles!

Heres what we used to make the card:
Colours: baja breeze, barely banana, pink pirouette
Stamps: sanded background, greetings eight, spot on jumbo wheel (with versa mark ink)
Punches: slit punch, 1" circle, slot punch
Accessories: blender pens & markers to colour the bunny, white taffeta ribbon

Window Dressing

I pre-ordered this cute stamp set as part of our demonstrator sneak peak opportunity. It’s called ‘Window Dressing’ (level 3 hostess set). I’ve used the new in colors pink pirouette and textured baja breeze. The roof is made with choc chip & the scallop edge punch.

(sorry not the best photo, big shadow... urgh!)

I stamped the window & girl with stazon ink on watercolour paper. Then used my blender pens to colour in. Watercolour paper allows you to get a much smoother colouring in finish, regular whisper white card stock still works but you get marker pen lines and the ink doesn’t glide along the paper the same. I have cut out the window & shutters & used diamensionals to raise it on the whisper white card.

And a bit of 1” double stitched grosgrain ribbon… made me think of bricks.
(1” ribbon is available in my product share below $10 for the 4 colours)
